After spending what has seemed like an eternity working on this website it was time for me to get back to doing some painting. I knew changing gears like this would require some reprogramming of my circuits, so I headed off in search of some inspiration. I rattled off the names in my head of the artists I liked and went hunting. Every time I do this I think of different artist, sometimes it the impressionists, expressionists or modernists, today it was Jeffrey Jones.

I love drawings and Jeffrey Jones drawings are some of the most most natural drawings I have seen. Its hard to tell where a line begins or where the pencil left the pages, there is a definite motion and weight, lines reinforcing lines to create forms. But drawings where not why I was here.

It had been some time since I had been at this site and I was again refreshed and amazed by the beauty of the paintings which are far closer to fine art than fantasy.
