This Photoshop painting from the original drawing design was painted using a scanned colour chart from the hardware store. While it gives a fairly harmonic colour scheme it later became apparent that house paints do not mix in a predicable way and we had to do a fair amount of improvisation with colour to get it all to work. For the later KCCP mural we used a colour palette that was picked to resemble my oil painting palette which was more work but gave far better results.
